can't pray til you laugh
can't see shit til
blue eyes glow clear
invisible spires of fire
pressing gibbous belly prints
on dream waves slowly rising
spore similes waxing on paper
waning in earth's beard
this wiggly wooden
twisted giggle
can't laugh til you know
that this is just it
that fingerless zen moons
mean blockhead not knowing
blockhead just dancing at
knobby gnome nose of
whatever waves breaking
when you know know know
no need to show
everything everysing everything
is children laughing
million moon atoms crowding
cheering for shiny
hoary homebound bits of rain
and now you pray
all shut up blown up
dissolving gasp through
luminous membranes rending
heart pounding disappearing
calm as the first day you knew
not knowing shit
calm as the wave
crashing into waking
calm as a child in
inner worming space expanding
panting chanting sweating
clean bovine energy
now now now rising again
big beautiful diffuse wolf
feathers of the indian
burning through holy houses
seven timeless breaths into the wind
seven moments of heaven
with he who doesn't hold the glow
unastonished by death
gently laughing worlds
into brilliant foam
he who is you
he who is me
he who ain't a he
the elder the younger
whose every fart is a holy text
the joke in the smoke
the reason you're laughing
the reason you're crying
the reason you're praying
can't hold it back
can't go back
knees buckling finding diamonds
down down down ha ha
now knowing now
when you ain't got nothing
all you do is laugh
